CM Tork Arm rubber suspensions are ideal for use in a variety of applications, particularly where a low deck height is required such as caravans, car transporters, horse floats, boat trailers and domestic trailers. As a suspension system they are easy to install as they are completely self contained.
Galvanised or Painted - available either galvanised for maximum corrosion resistence or primer undercoated for economy.
Bolt On Axles - are fitted as standard at no extra charge. Stub axle can be welded into drop link on request.
Half Axle or Full Beam - half axle 2 piece sets available ex. stock or full beam manufactured to client specifications. When ordering full beam you need to complete the specification sheet on the following page.
Carrying Capacity - all Tork Arm suspension ratings are quoted per pair, this refers to the maximum all-up weight that can be carried on 2 wheels. When mounted in tandem - 4 wheels, the capacity must be de-rated by 25%. Eg: 2 x 1500kg suspensions will carry 2250kg maximum (as de-rated by 750kg) in tandem.
Hub and Brake Sets - are not included in the price and are ordered separately. Please refer to the Hub and Axle section, pages 1-14.
Brakes - For Tandems - if brakes are being fitted to 1 axle only, then these must be fitted to front axle.
Tyre Spacing - Tandem - It is recommended that the space between tyres be kept to a minimum and should not exceed 150mm.
Mudguard Height - In the unloaded position the distance between the top of the tyre and the mudguard should be a minimum of 150mm.
